What we build

TiedSiren is a strict app blocker for Android. It exists because every blocker we tried had the same fatal flaw: it trusted willpower at exactly the moment willpower is gone. A blocker you can switch off in three taps is not a commitment device — it is a suggestion.

So TiedSiren moves the decision. You choose the apps and the duration before the session starts, and Strict Mode holds that decision until the timer ends. Blocked apps do not open, the timer cannot be shortened from the phone, and if you add Settings to the blocklist the uninstall route closes with it. That trade is yours to make up front, and it is the only decision Strict Mode lets you make.

What we will not do

The product is early and this site says so. There are no user counts we cannot show and no claims about outcomes we have not measured. The roadmap after Android is announced when a platform ships, not before. A page that attacks other products for overclaiming has no business overclaiming itself.

How the app treats your data

Blocking is enforced on the device through Android's Accessibility Service. That service checks which app is in the foreground so a block can be applied and so your own session statistics work. It does not read screen content and it does not send your activity anywhere. An internet connection is needed once, to create the account; blocking itself works offline. Who is behind it

TiedSiren is developed by Epictechtus. The team is small, the app is free, and the roadmap after Android is iOS, macOS and Windows — in that order, and announced only once each one actually ships.
